Difficulty starting page (edit: difficulty overcome)[]

I started creating this page [1] in wikibooks, and then discovered that howto.wikia existed and decided to put it here instead. Upon trying to copy the page here, I discovered that this howto.wikia doesn't support the formatting that I used in the article (in particular, howto.wikia doesn't seem to like me using html to create ordered and unordered lists (lists with bullet points or numbering)). Hopefully this will be resolved over time, but until then, I'll work on the howto that i am creating in wikibooks, and transfer it here at a later date. --A vivid dreamer 07:15, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

I have overcome this formatting problem by using the star (*) and hash (#) symbols to create "dot points" and "ordered lists", instead of using html.--A vivid dreamer 07:44, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Ideas for this howto[]

There are so many different designs for reusable menstrual pads. I'm starting this article off by making a tutorial explaining the way I make my pads, but it would be great for this article to include tutorials for other people's designs as well. When I finish the first tutorial, I envisage other tutorials being added, as well as a paragraph near the beginning of the article which shows pictures of the various pads that people could choose to make. The viewer could click on the picture of their choice and the page would automatically scroll down to the tutorial for the pad the viewer wants to make. Scrolling down the page manually would allow the viewer to see all the tutorials, one after the other.--A vivid dreamer 07:50, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

You can use this syntax to go to a place inside the page: Howto_make_a_reusable_menstrual_pad#Quick Steps. Or using an image:

Progress[]

More pictures to come. My sewing machine is broken at the moment, so when I fix it, I can finish the rest of the pictures. --A vivid dreamer 05:45, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

if you could add howto fix a sewing machine sometime, it would be great, even if you only add howto fix a small part of it. Ideally others would fill in the rest. I know if my sewing machine broke i wouldnt know where to start. Thanks again... ZyMOS 06:29, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I'll get one started, perhaps i'll start the section "how to fix a sewing machine with everyday household items", because my techniques are very makeshift. --A vivid dreamer 08:37, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Thats great, i am very much the same. Thanks again ZyMOS 01:05, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
