Add a new font directory
- fc-cache creates fonts.cache1
- ttmkfdir > fonts.scale creates fonts.scale
- mkfontdir creates fonts.dir
add font to path /usr/sbin/chkfontpath -a /the/fonts/path/
Local[]
Copy the .ttf files to the ~/.fonts directory (~ means home folder). Create this directory if it does not exist.
In a terminal window run: fc-cache
Note that this will enable the fonts only for the user who installed them.
