If you have Linux or Microsoft Windows you can use the wink freeware to create flash video screenshots. This is useful if you want to present how to use an application.


The command line program import, part of ImageMagick, can take a screen shot of any size.

  1. Execute: import [filename.filetype]
    • Example: import screenShot.png
  2. Your cursor will change
  3. Click and drag the cursor to make a box
  4. The screen content in the box will be saved in the file name and file type specified
