Many programs use GTK+ for there graphics libraries, and most follow GTK's default theme. You can set, and alter GTK themes using the gtk configuration file.

For GTK+ 2.0

• Config file:
  • ~/.gtkrc-2.0
• Add to the bottom of the file:

  gtk-font-name="sans-serif 8"
