  • Mount network folder:
  • Format: mount -t smbfs -o username={user name},password={password} {folders network location} {mount point}
  • Example: mount -t smbfs -o username=tridge,password=foobar //fjall/test /data/test
  • Set a mount point in /etc/fstab
    • Format: {folders network location} {mount point} smbfs username={user name},password={password}
    • Example: //monkey/Movies /mnt/abbas smbfs username=taco,password=paco
