Howto configure the Linux kernel / net / bluetooth / bnep



  • Option: BT_BNEP
    • Kernel Versions: 2.6.15.6 ...
    • (on/off/module) BNEP protocol support
    • depends on BT && BT_L2CAP
    • select CRC32
      BNEP (Bluetooth Network Encapsulation Protocol) is Ethernet emulation layer on top of Bluetooth. BNEP is required for Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Network).
      Say Y here to compile BNEP support into the kernel or say M to compile it as module (bnep).


  • Option: BT_BNEP_MC_FILTER
    • Kernel Versions: 2.6.15.6 ...
    • (on/off) Multicast filter support
    • depends on BT_BNEP
      This option enables the multicast filter support for BNEP.


  • Option: BT_BNEP_PROTO_FILTER
    • Kernel Versions: 2.6.15.6 ...
    • (on/off) Protocol filter support
    • depends on BT_BNEP
      This option enables the protocol filter support for BNEP.
